Informatics
Computational methods have pervaded into every aspect of life and field of science. This opened new horizons beyond the classical theoretical and experimental methods in science. Furthermore, the explosion and flow of tremendous amounts of data necessitates the intervention of computational methods in many fields. One such field is the multidisciplinary field of Health where computational methods became indispensible tools in uncovering the mysteries and advancing the health-related sciences, hence, improving human life. The emergence of computation into life and health sciences and integration of medical with bioinformatics data processing brought hope into the new field of Personalized Health Care.
The special track on Computational Methods in Health and Biomedical Informatics brings together scientists from many fields to identify the current challenges in medical data mining and knowledge discovery on both the clinical and molecular levels.
